The One Direction Movie Finally Gets A Proper Name – “THIS IS US”!
Yeh it sounds a bit like Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’, and it’s bit of a nothing title really. We would have preferred ‘THE HOT DUDES’ or possibly ‘NIALLS POTATO HEADS’.
But the brand new One Direction Movie will be called ‘This Is Us’, and will be released in cinemas this August.
@1D3DMovie played a little guessing game yesterday afternoon, revealing at the beginning that the title had three words, as such:

They revealed a letter at a time, and at one point it looked like the film was going to be called ‘This Is 1D’ – which we thought as well.
But as the letters kept on coming – amidst the official One Direction website crashing after one game – the final title became obvious.
Afterwards, Liam tweeted:
“guyssss so proud to announce that our upcoming movie is officially titled ‘This Is Us’! Cant wait for you guys to see itttt!!”
Nialler tweeted:
“guys, happy to announce that our movie is going to be titled “This is Us”. What do think of it???”
After Justin Bieber’s movie ‘Never Say Never’ and Katy Perry’s ‘Part Of Me’, the new 1D3D movie is the latest in a long line of music documentaries to hit our screens.
